The falling dollar against the Japanese yen on Thursday, amid anticipation among investors for the minutes of the last meeting of the US central bank, which will draw the United States monetary policy.
The dollar fell 0.2% to 119.82 yen, pulling away from the highs, this week, when it reached 120.57 yen on Tuesday.
The yen benefited from the effects of the decline in futures for US stocks B0.7%, despite the rise of Shanghai shares 3.4%, after the resumption of Chinese markets for trading.
According to expert estimates, the effect of minutes of the meeting will remain limited, given that the weak US jobs data, announced last week, fueling expectations to postpone the date to raise interest rates.
