New York City saw a gathering of about 2,000 people in Central Park the largest human chain in the form of a badge for the formation of the peace, and to mark the 75th anniversary of the birth of a member of "The Beatles" band formerly "John Lennon."
Some attendees used the occasion to denounce the war on Syria, carrying banners calling for their cessation.
